Michael DiMatteo moved over from coaching the girls soccer team at Brush to leading the boys and his first season was a good one.
Brush finished 9-8-2 under DiMatteo and reached a district semifinal before losing to rival Mayfield.
"I'm very pleased," DiMatteo said. "I had a great time working with the players. We changed systems a bit. We tried possessing the ball a little more. They embraced it. We started off very well."
