KENT - Stonewalled by another fantastic goalie performance at the district tournament, University School hockey players had every reason to have a witches brew boiling in their stomachs Friday night at Kent State.

"We were extremely nervous, but that helped in the end," US defenseman Britt Shroyer said. "Some of the guys were so nervous they wanted to throw up between periods."

They didn't. The Preppers held their composure long enough to defeat Lake Catholic in overtime, 3-2, for their eighth district championship.
