The Lancers (18-6), ranked eighth in the state poll, won the Division III district championship at LaBrae thanks to Jess Janota's 16 kills and five blocks and Megan Polak's seven kills and 32 assists. Splitting the first two sets, Gilmour got a boost from Nicole Brzozowski at the service line in the third. The Lancers trailed, 17-12, before Brzozowski reeled off 13 consecutive points to provide the match's key shift in momentum.  Full Story »
