The Longhorns, behind strong performances from Amy Carpenter and Marissa Stover, slipped past the Clippers in a Patriot Athletic Conference Stripes Division game. Lutheran West is 6-9, 5-5. With Lutheran West leading, 48-47, Carpenter took a charge. Her free throw accounted for the final margin. Carpenter finished with 16 points; Stover had 15. The Clippers' Ariel Calhoun scored a game-high 20.
