Mentor ranked 22nd in MaxPreps national football poll

 Mentor, by virtue of its 45-7 victory over Medina, is ranked in the MaxPreps and ESPN national high school football polls for the first time this season. 

 The Cardinals are No. 22nd in MaxPreps, 38th in ESPN and jumped from 29th to 25th in Rivals.
 

 Cincinnati St. Xavier, a 17-10 victor over previously-ranked St. Edward, slipped from 42nd to 43rd in ESPN and from 38th to 44th in Rivals. Moeller dropped from sixth to 43rd in Rivals, St. Edward went from 45th to 61st and Colerain improved to 88th from 93rd.
 

 St. Ignatius makes its debut in Rivals at 85th.
