Senior Chiristian Hauber scored from 55 yards out to begin the scoring and junior tailback Damon Washington scored five times on runs of 15, 44, 43, 25 and 83 yards to propel Kirtland to a 49 - 0 win. Sophmore fullback Eric Guhde finished the scoring for the Hornets with a 16 yard run.

Washington ended the evening rushing for 249 yards on 13 carries with five touchdowns and Kirtland ended the season 10 - 0. Newbury finished the season 2 - 8
