The Panthers moved to 3-1 and defensive coordinator Tom Gibbons got the best of his dad, Bedford head coach John Gibbons. ¶

Quarterback Howard Drake passed for four touchdowns as the visiting Panthers coasted after amassing a 41-7 halftime lead in the Lake Erie League crossover. ¶

Howard Drake completed 6 of 8 attempts for 141 yards. Ken Amos, Devon Jennings, Travis Smith and Andrew Bailey caught the touchdown passes. ¶

John Franklin gained 125 yards and two touchdowns on five carries. ¶

Bedford is 2-2.
