Oberlin 4, Firelands 0: The host Phoenix improved to 5-0-1 as goalkeeper Josh Kocsis got the shutout. Daniel Buhlosa, Zach Walsh, NiiArmah Hammond and Sam Annable scored the goals.
Norwalk 4, Brookside 1: Ramon Orneles had two goals as Norwalk forced Brookside goalkeeper Mitch Kepic to make 36 saves.
GIRLS GOLF
Hudson 163, Strongsville 181, North Royalton 209: Senior Natalie Goodson shot a 2-over 38 at Hinckley Hills to help the Explorers win the tri-match. With the victory, the Explorers move into a first-place with Strongsville in the Northeast Ohio Conference at 8-1, 6-1.
Avon 179, Bay 202, Vermilion 229: The Eagles improved to 16-0 as they put four players in the 40s at Willow Creek in Vermilion. Katelyn Greear took medalist honors with a 2-over 40 in the West Shore Conference affair.
Avon Lake 175, St. Joseph Academy 196: Paced by Alison Flint's 42, the Shoremen had four players in the 40s as they improved to 15-2 in an independent match at Sweetbriar.
BOYS GOLF
Berkshire 170, Kirtland 173: Luke Coleman's 4-over 40 earned medalist honors at Pleasant Hill in Claridon Township as the Badgers (9-2, 4-0) held off the Hornets (3-6, 2-3) to remain unbeaten in the Chagrin Valley Conference.
Kirtland's Noah Newsome and Grant Seimon each shot 41.

Willoughby South 5, Eastlake North 0: Carly Holloway and Khin-Keymon Aung recorded straight set wins as the Rebels swept the Rangers in a Premier Athletic Conference match.
