Trinity Girls Soccer Wins Sectional Semi-Final over Wickliffe

Senior striker Brianna Pastor had two goals and an assist as the Trinity Girls Soccer team advanced to the sectional finals with a 3-1 win over Wickliffe on Friday.

Senior midfielder Emily Krause had a goal and an assist and senior goalkeeper Marissa Smego made 6 saves behind the strong defense led by seniors Mackenzie Madigan and Amber Simun and freshmen Molly Tupta and Danielle Stakes to help the Trojans (10-6-1) move on to the sectional final on Monday against Kirkland. Junior Rose Tupta also had an assist.

"Everyone on the field pitched in and played hard," Trinity Coach Calvin Jefferson said. "It was a total team effort and everyone looked to gt involved."
