The Ironmen rebounded from a disappointing loss last week to defeat NCL rival Trinity. By beating Trinity, the Ironmen keep their playoff dreams alive and set up a classic battle with Holy Name for the NCL White championship.
In what will be the biggest game to date at Stefanski Stadium the Ironmen will play for their first football title in decades. Handing Trinity a 46-7 loss has set the stage for this epic battle.
As the Hyland brothers faced each other across the field (Leo is the President of CCC and brother Marty is the Athletic Director for Trinity) the Ironmen scored early and often. Led by Kahari Dicksons 145 yards rushing and two TD's the game was never in question.
Sophomore Tavion Pauldo had 134 yards rushing and two TD's along with junior Damion Wheat's 92 yards rushing and two TD's. Freshman Desmond Lundy added an interception and his own 13 yard TD run late in the game.
The stage is set for next week. Lets get all the Ironmen faithful out and fill Stefanski Stadium. GO IRONMEN
