'Cats Claw Hurricanes

, September 26, 2012 1:58 p.m.

Once again one bad quarter and a mental lapse have done in the Hurricanes.  This young team played three great quarters of football, unfortunately you have to play all four quarters.

Slowed by injuries to several key players, the Hurricanes played a gritty first half in which a turnover gave Keystone a  touchdown a mere 8 seconds before half time.  The 'canes came out flat after the half and allowed two quick Keystone touchdowns, sealing the victory for the Wildcats.  A late score as time ran out lifted the spirits of the team.

For the third week in a row the blue and gold drew first blood on their opening drive. Unfortunately, that momentum from early leads has not translated into victories.  The Hurrincanes will play Lutheran West on Friday and hope to earn their first win of the season.  Go Canes!
