Bishop Fenwick wins first-ever state soccer title

The Lady Falcons leaned on an impressive defensive effort and timely goal by Alexis Heard to knock off Archbishop Hoban, 1-0, in the Division II state final. Heard's goal came at the 71:23 mark of the match. Hoban had an opportunity to tie on a penalty kick by standout Juliana Libertin with 1:29 left  but her shot was wide right.
