Ursula Academy wins back-to-back DI girls state soccer titles

Elizabeth Burchenal has been a houshold name to soccer fans since she stepped foot on Ursula's campus in suburban Cincinnati. On Saturday afternoon at Crew Stadium she did not disappoint. The junior forward scored the games lone goal at the 43:00 mark of the match.

 The Bulldogs' stingy defense staved off an agressive Strongsville attack late in the game. Ursula's win marked a sweep for parochial schools on championship Saturday. Bishop Fenwick knocked off Archbishop Hoban 1-0 in the DII title earlier in the day.
