CLEVELAND, O. - Cleveland State's softball program got a little richer when seniors Alyson Broschk, Alisha Silva and Darien Ward recently signed national letters of intent as part of the NCAA's early signing period.
Broschk, an outfielder for Keystone, batted .430 with 30 RBI and five homers when the Wildcats placed second at the Division II state tournament.
Silva is another Keystone standout who batted .563 with 31 RBI and 21 stolen bases while playing a solid second base.
Ward played second base for Elyria's Division I final four team and also hit .434 with 14 RBI and 23 stolen bases.
