Huricanes Run Out of Steam

The 'canes are glad they are done playing Blue Devils this season. The confines of home have not been kind to Brooklyn as they dropped a game to Wickliffe. Brooklyn squandered the momentum and the lead after jumping on top of Wickliffe 28-24 with just under 7 minutes to play.
A Jordon McKeever 65 yard interception return gave the 'Canes their first lead of the night. Dan Czirr added the extra point and was perfect 4 of 4 on extra points. Alex Sommers and Nick Hernandez had big time receptions and Joey Gray led the defense with 8 solo tackles. Jordon McKeever had 12 solo tackles in a see saw battle that saw Brooklyn jump on top 7 - 0 in the first quarter.
After going up 28-24, the home team had a couple of mental lapses that led to a 43-28 loss. The blue and gold travel to Buckeye next Saturday to face the Bucks. Come out and support the team as they look to get their fist victory this season
