A tie at the end of a hard fought game is rarely a satisfying result and one that ends 0-0 usually has nobody leaving happy. The Gators and Wolverines renewed their rivalry this year after a one year break and neither would have likely predicted a 0-0 draw. Laurel is likely the least happy with the outcome as they controlled possession throughout the game while amassing three times the shots and corner kicks on their opponent. West Geauga was saved multiple times by impressive athletic saves from their goal keeper on what looked to be certain scoring chances. Laurel's record now advances to 7-2-4 while the Wolverines leave with a 4-5-2 mark on their season. Laurel welcomes divsion one power Magnificat next Wednesday and concludes the regular season with Cardinal Mooney on Saturday which will be Senior day.
