Hathaway Brown basketball team falls to Twinsburg

SHAKER HEIGHTS - Twinsburg had a dominant second quarter and Ashley Morrissette made several clutch shots as the Tigers defeated Hathaway Brown, 46-38, Wednesday night at Hathaway Brown School.

The Blazers led the Tigers, 8-5, after the first quarter, but Twinsburg outscored HB, 16-5, in the second quarter for a 21-13 halftime advantage. The Tigers never trailed in the second half.

HB dropped to 14-5 while Twinsburg improved to 18-0.

Vanessa Smith led HB with 18 points, four rebounds and three assists. Nia Marshall was next with 11 points and eight rebounds.

Morrissette scored 24 points, 11 in the fourth quarter, with four rebounds. Baleigh Reid chipped in with 12 points and three rebounds.
