CLEVELAND, Ohio -- It appears nobody won Friday night after a fight occurred late in the first half when Brush visited Garfield Heights for a Northeast Ohio Conference Lake Division football game.
Officials stopped the contest with 46 seconds left in the second quarter and Garfield Heights holding a 21-14 lead.
Ohio High School Athletic Association assistant commissioner Henry Zaborniak issued the following statement via email Saturday morning to the athletic directors at both schools.
"With that much time remaining [in the game], no one should win so we will declare this game a double forfeit -- both teams lose."
