CVCA opened their season at home Monday against non-conference Medina with a 4-1 victory. Ali Garrity was the sole winner for the Bee's at number one singles. Although both teams have lost key players, Medina is in the rebuilding stage as it graduated 15 Seniors including 6 from last year's Varsity line up.
CVCA's Junior Varsity also took a 2-5 victory at Medina's courts. Medina's Macy Kuhar had an impressive 3rd Singles victory 6-2; 7-5 as well as 2nd Doubles team of Diekman/Rini with a score of 6-0; 6-2.
Medina will be hosting Brunswick at home on Wednesday.
