North Olmsted scored early with junior midfielder feeding junior forward Stephen Newport who found the top of the net floating it over Brunswick's senior keeper Zak Petrenko. It ended there though for the Eagles. Brunswick scored 5 unanswered goals with junior forward Justin Miller notching the game at 1 from a nice cross from senior midfielder Jake Marianut. The Blue Devils scored 4 times in the second half with 3 goals coming within a 3 minute span. Sophomore midfielder Dylan Castro skied one over the Eagles' keeper Alec DeAnna as all he could do is watch it go his head into the top corner of the net. Next, Miller was able to pull DeAnna out of goal only to find junior midfielder Ross DiDonna to finish for the score. Miller then had a nice pass in front of the box to find Marianut who trapped the ball, turned and found the corner of the net. The final Devil's goal came from DiDonna passing to senior defender Brandon Evans who scored his first goal of the season. Petrenko ended with 8 saves while the combination of DeAnna and Evan Saunders ended with 7 for the Eagles. Brunswick improves their record to 6-4. North Olmsted drops to 5-4. The Blue Devils hit the road next Tuesday evening against divisional foe Lakewood.
